Since debuting at Below The Belt and Off the Wall stores in Canada last summer, Dorinha jeans, designed by Vancouver-based, Brazilian-born Dorinha and managed and marketed with business partner Dale R. The Summer/Fall 2002 DJW lineup includes military, lace-up and ripped looks in finishes from dark rinse, stonewash, bleach and sandblasted to dirty denim, along with last year’s strongest sellers. Hot new styles include a medium stonewash jean featuring a cellphone pocket low on the right flared pant leg, jeans with extra large belt loops, a line of stretchy knit flare pants, denim skirts and shorts. Also new is a line of SupplexÔ microfibre tops and ultra-low cut underwear; for a limited time, a pair of matching underwear is complimentary with a few select jeans styles this season. Completing the look is a matching line of purses made from actual Dorinha jeans, with faux leather detailing, straps and the DJW label.
